"This is to inform all the applicants and the awardees of INSA-CSIR-DAE-CCSTDS Joint Travel Fellowship Scheme 2019-2020,and other beneficiaries of CCSTDS programmes that due to unavoidable technical problems, all the programme activities are being suspended with immediate effect. The awardees, who have already attended the meetings/conferences/seminars are requested to submit their claims for reimbursement of their partial support towards travel airfare, accommodation, registration, etc., before 31st May 2020 positively. The claims submitted after May 31, 2020 will not be entertained. Thank you for your kind co-operation and understanding. "




The Centre is mandated to promote S & T related activities for the mutual benefit of the scientists of developing countries from Asia, Africa, Latin America and Arab regions. CCSTDS has been dedicated to the promotion of international scientific co-operation by Dr.T.Ramasami, Former Secretary, Department of Science and Technology (DST), Ministry of Science & Technology, GOI, New Delhi. The focus is on providing opportunity for developing countries (other than India) scientists to carry out research in premier research institutions in India.



India Science & Research Fellowship (ISRF) is to provide opportunity to scientists from developing countries of Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Maldives, Myanmar, Nepal and Sri Lanka to work in advanced research areas in all major disciplines of science and technology including engineering and medical sciences at premier research laboratories in India. The Fellowship is supported by the Department of Science & Technology, Government of India....


INSA JRD-TATA Fellowship

Indian National Science Academy(INSA), has instituted the INSA-JRD TATA FELLOWSHIP which is being administered by CCSTDS. The purpose of this Fellowship is to extend facilities of scientific infrastructure and expertise of India to scientists and researchers from other developing countries. The Fellowship provides short-term research training for the scientists/researchers from Developing Countries in Indian research laboratories for a maximum period of three months...


DBT-TWAS Fellowship

CCSTDS is the coordinating agency on behalf of Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Government of India for the execution of DBT-TWAS Postgraduate and Postdoctoral Biotechnology Fellowships for Researchers from Developing Countries.....



The JNCASR-CCSTDS fellowship programme is jointly instituted by the Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research (JNCASR) Bangalore and CCSTDS, Chennai to encourage mobility of scientists from developing countries. The Fellowship covers short-term research, training or participatory research work in physical, chemical or biological sciences in reputed scientific institutions in India including JNCASR for a maximum period of three months....
